Pathogens-macrophage interaction
The future work in Zhu lab will focus on the interaction between animal macrophages and pathogens of critical infectious diseases in livestock and poultry：
1. identifying the phenotype and function of animal macrophages；
2. revealing molecular mechanisms regulating phenotype transition and metabolismof macrophages following viruses infection;
3. providing potential therapeutic target and new ideas for the development of novel vaccines and drugs for animal infectious diseases.
