Yang Zhou is an associate professor in Huazhong Agricultural University, and a permanent researcher in the key laboratory of agricultural animal genetics and breeding of the Ministry of Education in China. During 2014-2016, he joint phd training in United States Department of Agriculture and Johns Hopkins University. He works in Huazhong Agricultural University after the year graduated from Northwest A&F university in China. His current research aims at understanding the function of cattle pan-genome and its breeding applications. He has over 50 publications in the professional journals like Nature Genetics, Genome Research, Gigascience, BMC genomics, DNA research, Epigenetics, Animal genetics and so on.
