Dr. Tu obtained his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hubei University of Technology followed by two graduate degrees both from Wuhan University of Technology, culminating in 2015 with a PhD with a specialization in vehicle fuel economy and waste heat recovery. He joined the faculty of College of Engineering at Huazhong Agricultural University in 2015. He has been involved in research in the area of agricultural machinery including agricultural tractor and combined harvester and waste heat recovery for energy conservation and emission reduction. His research includes both experimental projects and numerical modeling combustion within engines, emissions control, and vehicle fuel efficiency.
