牛长缨,女,博士、教授、博士生导师。2000年浙江大学昆虫学博士毕业,2010年任职华中农业大学昆虫学科教授,已培养毕业了60多位硕士及博士研究生。曾赴澳大利亚昆士兰大学(2004-2005年)、昆士兰科技大学(2017-2018年)进行科研合作交流。目前担任国际实蝇委员会(IFFSC)委员及湖北省昆虫学会副理事长等。先后主持国家自然科学基金国际合作项目1项、国家自然科学基金面上项目5项、公益性行业(农业)科研专项1项、联合国国际原子能机构(IAEA)国际合作项目4项等。主要从事昆虫生理生化及分子生物学研究:一是基础研究,以果实蝇昆虫为主要对象,研究昆虫寄主定位及食性进化的分子调控机制;二是应用研究,探究基于行为学的害虫绿色防控新技术。
