中共党员，副教授，博士生导师，华中科技大学博士及博士后。主要从事数字化电磁无损检测与智能评估、结构健康监测、信号处理、农产品智能化无损检测等技术及理论研究工作。在ADV SCI, IEEE TII、TIE, MSSP, SHM, MEASUREMENT, SENSOR ACTUAT A-PHYS等期刊发表SCI论文40余篇，获得国家发明专利及软件著作权10余项（授权7项），出版外文专著2部/章节。主持国家自然科学基金面上、青年基金项目、湖北省自然科学基金面上项目、中央高校基本科研业务费专项资金资助项目、中国博士后科学基金等科研项目；重点参与了国家重点研发计划子课题、国家“973计划”子课题、国家科技重大专项以及国家自然科学基金面上、湖北省重点研发计划等项目；获得2021年度中船重工集团科技进步二等奖1项、2023年度ICMSD国际会议“最佳论文奖”。另设计开发了多套钢丝绳、钢管、储罐底板等电磁无损检测装备与仪器系统并应用于各企事业单位。担任教育部全国研究生教育评估监测专家、湖北省科技厅及武汉市科技专家库成员、新加坡Viser Mechanical Engineering专家委员会委员，《机械科学与工程》编委、《智能化农业装备学报（中英文）》青年编委，SCI期刊Applied Sciences客座编辑，IEEE Member, 中国机械工程学会高级会员、中国仪器仪表学会会员, 第四届工业医院发展论坛主席, FICMSS2023国际会议Workshop主席，Scientific Reports, NDT&E INT, J Nondestruct Eval, Measurement, IEEE TII,  IEEE T Magn, Struct Health Monit, Sensor Actuat A-Phys等审稿人。

Shiwei Liu is currently an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor in College of Engineering, Huazhong Agricultural University. He served as a Postdoctor and Assistant Research Fellow in Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) from June 2019 to March 2022, after he received the Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from HUST in 2019. His research interests include Non-destructive testing (NDT, such as electromagnetic, ultrasound and magnetic testing) methods and principles, intelligent detection, advanced sensor and smart sensing, signal processing, nonlinear system, artificial intelligence, finite element modeling and simulation, and the development of NDT/SHM instrument and equipment. He has published more than 40 research papers and book chapters in scientific journals such as ADV SCI, IEEE TII、TIE, MSSP, SHM, MEASUREMENT, SENSOR ACTUAT A-PHYS, and international conferences, and applied more than 10 patents and Software Copyright in China. He is also the project leader of several national projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NNSFC)，National Key Research and Development Plan and China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. He won the Second prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC), "Best Paper Award" in ICMSD2023. He is a member of IEEE, expert in Singapore Viser Mechanical Engineering Expert Database，expert in Science and Technology Department of Hubei Province, member of China Instrument and Control Society (CIS), and senior member of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (CMES), Co-Chair of 4th Industrial Hospital Development Forum, Workshop Chair of FICMSS2023，Editorial board member of《Mechanical Science and Engineering》and《Journal of Intelligent Agricultural Mechanization》, Guest editor of 《Applied sciences》, reviewer of more than 10 journals including 《Scientific Reports》, IEEE TIE and SHM.
