匡汉晖，教授，博士生导师。1998年毕业于美国佐治亚大学（University of Georgia）。博士毕业后在University of California, Davis 以及 Berkeley 分校进行植物抗病基因的研究。2008年加入华中农业大学，受聘为长江学者特聘教授，近年来主要从事生菜和莴笋的基因组学和遗传学研究。在生菜结球、莴笋茎膨大等方向取得较好进展。课题组同时涉及莴苣驯化、发育（叶片和花期）、营养、育种等方向的研究。
