林木适应性生长机制研究(分子物候学)
木本植物具有几十年乃至百年的生命周期,为了成功繁衍后代与生存,木本植物演化出一套适应四季自然交替的发育机制,确保植物在一年中特定时间生长、开花、结实、休眠等,即季节性生长(物候)。本课题组围绕木本植物如何精确地调控这种周期性生长这一科学问题,以温带杨树、亚热带桉树等多年生木本植物为研究对象,利用基因组学,表观遗传学,生物信息学,分子生物学等多种研究手段,深入研究林木物候分子基础,并将研究成果应用于生产实践,进行优质高适的林木遗传改良与种质创新。
