宗望远，男，1969年7月出生，工学博士，教授，博士生导师。华中农业大学工学院副院长，农业农村部长江中下游农业装备重点实验室常务副主任，湖北省农业机械科技创新联合会会长。长期从事现代农业机械装备设计与测控方面的教学和科研工作。
