Zutao Zhou is an associate professor in the College of Veterinary Medicine, Huazhong Agricultural University. He received a Ph.D. degree from Huazhong Agricultural University in 2009. From September 2009 to June 2013, he did postdoctoral research in Huazhong Agricultural University and University of Georgia, USA. His current research aims at molecular pathogenic and immunity mechanism of bacteria, immune evasion during bacterial infection, and animal gut microbiology.
His research interests focus on diseases of poultry, including pathogenesis and immune evasion mechanisms of important poultry pathogens, development of new diagnostic reagents and vaccines, poultry diseases control and elimination technology.
