棉属植物演化及遗传改良
（1）整合多组学技术，以基因组大小、多倍化等为重点，解析棉属植物的演化；
（2）利用群体遗传学，多维度解析棉花驯化与遗传改良机理，发掘重要农艺性状的遗传调控网络；
（3）以种间渐渗为切入点，创造海岛棉遗传新种质，培育高产、广适应的棉花新品种。
