谭鹤群，男，1968年生，工学博士，博士生导师。一直从事现代农业装备工程方面的研究，包括畜禽与水产养殖、饲料加工、农产品加工方面的技术研究与装备开发。兼任全国饲料机械标准化技术委员会委员、中国农业工程学会畜牧工程专业委员会常务理事、湖北省农业工程学会理事。已培养毕业研究生50余名，主持和参加各级科研项目10余项，以第一发明人申请专利10余项，已授权7项，发表学术论文50余篇。

Dr.Tan Hequn (1968-) is a full professor of College of Engineering and supervisor for PhD students. He has been engaged in modern agricultural equipment engineering research, specifically in livestock, poultry and aquaculture farming, feed processing, agricultural products processing technology and equipment development. He is also a member of National Feed Machinery Standardization Technical Committee, standing director of livestock Engineering Professional Committee of Chinese Society of Agricultural Engineering and director of Hubei Agricultural Engineering Society. He has supervised more than 40 graduate students and presided over and participated in more than 10 scientific research projects at all levels. He has been granted more than 7 patents as the first inventor, and has published more than 30 academic papers.
