Zhili Qi, female, Ph.D., is an associate professor at the fifth level of Huazhong Agricultural University, a graduate tutor, a visiting scholar at Auburn University in the United States, and one of the first batch of national-level golden course hosts. Hubei Province Science and Technology Commissioner, trainer of the Agricultural Media and Communication Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, executive director of the National Pet Alliance, review experts of World's Poultry Science Journal, Journal of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, Journal of Animal Nutrition, China Journal of Animal Science and other journals, Hubei Province Feed Technical person in charge of the quality supervision and testing station. Lectures on required degree courses for undergraduates and postgraduates, and won 9 school teaching quality excellence awards, 2 second-class teaching achievement awards, and 1 third-class teaching innovation award; presided over and completed 1 teaching research project in Hubei Province, 4 teaching reform projects in Huazhong Agricultural University , 1 postgraduate case-based teaching and research project, and hosted and participated in 3 MOOC course construction projects. She won 2 special prizes for instructors in the National College Student Animal Science Professional Skills Competition and 1 special prize for instructors in the National "Elite Cattlemen Challenge". The main research directions are animal nutrition regulation and feed efficacy evaluation, focusing on the research on animal nutrition and regulation technology under adverse environments (environmental stress and disease). She has presided over more than 10 scientific research projects including 2 sub-topics of the “13th Five-Year Plan” National Key Research Plan, Hubei Provincial Public Welfare Science and Technology Research Projects, Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Support Projects, and University Key Talent Introduction Projects; and participated in undertaking the National Natural Science Foundation, 4 major key scientific and technological projects in the Hubei province's "11th Five-Year Plan"; published over 100 papers in authoritative academic journals such as "Animal Nutrition", "Asian-Australasian Journal of Animal Sciences", "Chinese Journal of Experimental Animals" and "Journal of Animal Nutrition". She has applied for and accepted 3 national invention patents, and won 1 Hubei Province Science and Technology Progress Second Prize; 1 Hubei Province Outstanding Master’s Thesis Guidance Award, 1 Agricultural Master’s Internship Practice Outstanding Instructor Award, and 8 Guidance Awards of Huazhong Agricultural University’s Outstanding Master’s Thesis; Editor-in-Chief of 1 national planning textbook for the 13th Five-Year Plan, participated in the compilation of 4 national planning textbooks, and 2 postgraduate textbooks; 22 graduates have been trained, 8 are currently studying, and many graduate students who were supervised have received national scholarships, corporate scholarships and "Three Good Students" awards, and have won titles such as "Excellent Graduates" and "Excellent Graduate Cadres".
