Miao Yiliang, professor, Ph.D supervisor. Director of the Department of Animal Reproduction and Special Economics, Director of the Institute of Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology, Deputy Director of the Laboratory Animal Center, Deputy Director of the Frontier Science Center of the Ministry of Education of Animal Breeding and Health Breeding, Deputy Director of the Key Laboratory of Agricultural Animal Genetics, Breeding and Reproduction of the Ministry of Education. He is also the standing director of the Animal Reproduction Branch of the Chinese Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Society, the standing member of the Cell and Molecular Microscopy Technology Society of the Chinese Zoological Society, the member of the Reproductive Biology Society of the Chinese Zoological Society, the member of the Animal Biotechnology Branch of the Chinese Society of Agricultural Biotechnology, and the deputy editor of the Journal of Huazhong Agricultural University. Mainly focused on 1) the mechanism of early embryonic development and somatic reprogramming in animals; 2) Research on the mechanism of pluripotency maintenance and differentiation of embryonic stem cells; 3) the mechanism of the influence of environmental factors on embryonic development; 4) Gene editing and animal model creation. He has published more than 80 SCI papers in journals such as Genome Research, Molecular Cell, PNAS, Autophagy, Advanced Science, Stem Cell Reports, and Biology of Reproduction. It has undertaken 2 national key research and development projects, 4 general and special projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, major national transgenic projects, sub-projects of the National Science and Technology Support Program, and innovation group projects of the Hubei Provincial Natural Science Foundation.
