孟红杰，中共党员，博士，河南洛阳人。2011年7月本科毕业于吉林大学；2017年7月博士毕业于中国科学院大学；2017-2020年，中国科学院武汉植物园博士后。2020年入职华中农业大学从事林学学科教学和科研工作。主要开展森林植被保护和修复，珍贵树种资源评价和繁育的研究，从事林草资源调查和自然保护地规划的技术服务。
研究兴趣：
（1）珍稀物种响应环境变化的潜在机制
（2）森林植被恢复过程中植物-微生物协同变化
（3）珍贵树种资源收集、筛选评价与利用
（4）国家公园及自然保护地体系建设
