Yingchao Hu is Associate Professor at Huazhong Agricultural University. He obtained his PhD in Thermal Engineering from the State Key Laboratory of Coal Combustion (SKLCC) at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in 2018. Following completion of PhD, he worked as Associate Professor at Central South University. In 2021/09, he joined College of Engineering, Huazhong Agricultural University as Associate Professor. His research interests mainly focus on carbon capture, application of agricultural waste in CO2 sorbents, emission reduction and control of combustion pollutants, thermochemical energy storage, etc. He has published more than 40 academic papers including 23 high-level SCI papers as the first author/corresponding author, among which 8 papers were published in the journals with impact factors >10 such as Chemical Engineering Journal and Journal of Materials Chemistry A.
