plant and virus interactions
There are three parts, including insect vectors, viruses and plants, for a successful plant virus disease cycle. Besides of the insects, which take important part in the transmission of plant viruses, the interactions of virus and plant are mainly inside cells. We focus on the molecular biology of plant virus effectors and host plant molecular response to virus effectors. We are also interested in modifying virus vectors for plant biotechnological purpose.
