Zou Jiahui, a male and member of the Communist Party of China, born in Yingcheng, Hubei Province. In August 2022, he obtained a doctoral degree in preventive veterinary medicine at Huazhong Agricultural University. His research primarily focuses on animal influenza viruses in the fields of molecular pathogenesis and immune mechanisms, virus-host interactions, and the development of novel prevention and control strategies. As a research backbone, he has participated in National Key Research and Development Program and National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 10 SCI papers in journals such as PLoS Pathogens, Journal of Virology, Journal of Medical Virology, Antiviral Research. Additionally, he has obtained 1 national invention patent.
