周锐,男,华中农业大学二级岗教授、博士生导师。兼任科技部动物疾病防控国际联合研究中心主任、华中农业大学-回盛研究院院长、中国兽医协会教育工作委员会委员。入选教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”,湖北省杰出青年科学基金获得者,国家973计划和国家重点研发计划项目首席科学家,湖北省自然科学基金猪细菌病的病原生物学与致病机理创新研究群体学术带头人。主要从事动物细菌性传染病的流行病学、病原生物学与防控技术研究。与英国剑桥大学、帝国理工学院建立了紧密的科学研究与人才培养合作关系。先后主持973计划、863计划、国家重点研发计划、国家转基因生物新品种培育重大专项、国家自然科学基金面上项目和国际组织间重点合作项目、国家国际科技合作专项、教育部重大科技项目、湖北省生物技术重大项目、中英合作项目等20余项。在Advanced Science、Small、Engineering、Journal of Bacteriology、Infection and Immunity、Virulence、Veterinary Microbiology、Environmental Microbiology、BMC Microbiology、Journal of Immunology、Antibiotics、Antiviral Research等学术期刊上发表论文190余篇。获国家重点新产品证书1项、国家新兽药注册证书3项、授权发明专利10项,制定湖北省地方标准1项,获湖北省科学技术进步一等奖2项、国家教学成果二等奖1项、湖北省教学成果一等奖1项。
