周爱明，中共党员，副教授，硕士生导师，主要从事入侵害虫与环境互作方向的研究。（1）重点关注入侵红火蚁与半翅目排蜜昆虫间的互作机制及二者互作的生态学效应，阐明了红火蚁与半翅目排蜜昆虫互利共生是红火蚁成功入侵的重要原因。（2）同时研究入侵蚂蚁社会行为对土壤污染的响应，阐明了土壤重金属污染影响红火蚁嗅觉识别的分子机制。研究成果在Environmental Science & Technology、Environmental Pollution、Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety、Functional Ecology、Journal of Pest Science等国际主流期刊发表。
