Dr. Kan Zheng (male), Ph.D. in Engineering, is engaged in scientific research and academic instruction in the field of Agricultural Mechanization Engineering. The primary research focuses on intelligent tillage-seeding technologies and equipment innovations for paddy-upland rotation systems in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. In recent years, seven research projects have been presided over, encompassing the Youth Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the General Program and Youth Program of the Hubei Provincial Natural Science Foundation, the University's Independent Innovation Fund, and the College's Guidance Special Project. Additionally, he has participated in five national and provincial-level research initiatives. Over 20 academic papers in SCI/EI-indexed journals such as Soil & Tillage Research, Computers and Electronics in Agriculture, International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering, Transactions of the Chinese Society of Agricultural Engineering, and Transactions of the Chinese Society for Agricultural Machinery have been published as first author or corresponding author, . Technological innovations are substantiated by 12 nationally authorized invention patents (primary inventor), 4 registered software copyrights, and the engineering development of six specialized machinery systems optimized for paddy stubble field cultivation and precision seeding operations.
