杨凤连,女,博士,华中农业大学副教授,硕士生导师。2002年6月获得华中农业大学学士学位,2005年6月获得云南农业大学农业昆虫与害虫防治硕士学位,2008年6月获得华南农业大学农业昆虫与害虫防治博士学位;2008年7月至2010年6月于华中农业大学植物科技学院植物保护博士后流动站工作;2010年7月至今于华中农业大学植物科技学院工作,期间到美国德州农工大学昆虫系访学一年(2016.9-2017.9),主要从事《普虫昆虫学》的教学工作和植物精油对储粮害虫防治的科研工作,在植物源活性物质对储粮害虫的调控机理及植物源活性物质剂型研制等方面积累了大量经验,在Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, Insect Molecular Biology, Insect Science, Journal of Pest Science, Pesticide Biochemistry and Physiology, Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety,Cellular and Molecular Life Sciences等国际知名学术期刊发表多篇相关SCI论文,建立了基因克隆及表达检测、昆虫基因干扰、精子形态和活力检测以及昆虫行为调控研究等一系列技术平台。
