Xiong Xiong, male, member of the Communist Party of China, PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, formerly worked at Alibaba Damo Academy, currently Associate Researcher and Master's supervisor in the Department of Intelligent Breeding, Huazhong Agricultural University. Main research directions: 1) Intelligent animal phenotyping based on computer vision; 2) Animal behavior analysis and digital monitoring technology; 3) Multi-omics big data analysis; 4) Phenotype-genotype intersection research serving genetic breeding. Dedicated to combining photoelectric imaging, AI vision algorithms, integrating multi-omics and phenomics big data analysis, locating key genes and loci of target traits, serving intelligent breeding and genetic breeding research. Related research results have been published in mainstream academic journals in the field such as Plant Methods, Plant Biotechnology Journal, Journal of Experimental Botany, and top conferences in computer science such as CVPR, ACM MM and SIGIR.
