王意东,男,植物科学技术学院/生命科学交叉学院教授,博士生导师;湖北洪山实验室、农业微生物资源发掘与利用全国重点实验室固定研究人员。入选湖北省青年拔尖人才计划。
研究方向
1. 昆虫资源与行为利用。针对国家替代蛋白重大战略需求,以资源型昆虫黑水虻为对象,研究:1)黑水虻的遗传育种;2)提升黑水虻作为生物反应器转化有机废弃物产出昆虫蛋白的效率;3)培育高蛋白、高脂肪、高产卵等性状的黑水虻新品种。
2. 昆虫化学生态学和害虫绿色防控。通过生物化学、细胞生物学和昆虫学等手段,研究重大农业害虫的化学感受机制,构建小分子-靶标蛋白筛选体系,开发针对昆虫嗅觉系统的原创嗅觉行为调控剂,并探索开发和建立防治重大农业害虫的创新性方法。
