刘桂琼，女，中共党员，四川简阳人。华中农业大学副教授、硕士生导师。四川农业大学农学学士、扬州大学农学博士。主要以鸡和羊为对象研究畜禽分子遗传和功能基因组学。现主持国家自然科学基金、省现代农业产业技术体系等项目。先后在国内外期刊上发表科研论著共计发表科研论著共计90余篇，SCI收录文章15篇，其中以通讯作者和第一作者在《Vaccine》、《Ecology & Evolution》、《Reproduction in Domestic Animals》、《Avian biology research》,《British poultry science》,《Asian-Aust.J.Anim.Sci.》等发表论文10篇，主参编专著10部，软件著作权证书3件。培养硕士研究生10人
