课题组以莴苣为，研究莴苣的驯化、基因组学以及重要性状的遗传和分子机理。课题包括生菜结球、生菜叶缺刻、大小、叶缘卷曲等叶型形成的遗传和分子机理；莴笋膨大肉质茎控制基因的克隆。同时，我们还对莴苣代谢和品质，莴苣雄性不育，莴笋的杂交育种感兴趣。
