谷长勤，女，河南南阳人，中共党员。华中农业大学副教授、硕士生导师，华中农业大学农学博士。 自2001年留校工作以来努力提高教学质量，不断拓宽研究视野，一直从事临床常见畜禽疾病的发病机制研究和宠物肿瘤疾病的诊断。2017年3月至2018年3月前往美国农业部研究服务中心访学一年。先后获授权发明专利4项；获得湖北省科技进步二等奖1项，发表科研论文80余篇，主编和参编著作6部。
