Dr. Du received his B.Sc. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Wuhan University, China, in 2009 and 2015, respectively. He is currently a Lecturer in the College of Engineering, Huazhong Agricultural University. His research interests are in the theory and application of the Discrete Element Method, the design and research of the metering seeder and soil tillage tool, and agricultural information sensing and robot in precision agriculture.
